All of our doctors are members of the American Optometric Association, the Pennsylvania Optometric Association, and the Lancaster County Optometric Association. They subscribe to the codes and ethics of these organizations.
Dr. Philip J. Schwartz
Dr. Schwartz earned his degree in physics from Franklin & Marshall College in 1973. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1979. Upon entering private practice in Lancaster, Dr. Schwartz established a large following in his specialty in contact lens design and care. He has served his profession in the past as President of the Pennsylvania Optometric Association. He is a member of the A.O.A Contact Lens Section and gold Key International Optometric Honor Society. In 1997, Dr. Schwartz completed a 100-hour course in ocular therapeutic pharmaceuticals and became therapeutically licensed in 1998. This enables him to serve our patients by treating ocular diseases. In 2003, he completed special certification courses in the treatment of glaucoma.
In 2011, Dr. Schwartz became one of the first 23 doctors in Pennsylvania to successfully complete and pass the process to become a diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.
Dr. Lynne M. Glinski
Dr. Glinski received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience from Franklin & Marshall College in 2004. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 2009. She earned clinical honors throughout her externship rotations in primary care, ocular disease, contact lenses and pediatrics. Dr. Glinski continued her training by completing a residency in primary care and ocular disease at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia in 2010 and joined Eye Center of Lancaster County in 2012. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Pennsylvania Optometric Association and the Lancaster County Optometric Society. Dr. Glinski is dedicated to providing quality eye care, contact lens services and management of ocular diseases.

Deborah A. Tindall, C.P.O.T., C.O.A., A.B.O.C., N.C.L.C.
Deb graduated from Solanco High School in 1981, and went on to attain her undergraduate degree in Biology from Lebanon Valley College, Annville, PA. Since joining the staff of Eye Center of Lancaster County in 1986, she has developed her skills in all aspects of the practice. She earned the professional degrees of Certified Optometric Technician (C.P.O.T.), Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (C.O.A.), Certified Optician (A.B.O.C.), and Certified Contact Lens Technician (N.C.L.C.)
She served on the Board of the Pennsylvania Paraoptometric Association from 1989-96, including the office of President (1994-95). Long regarded by her peers as one of the leading Optometric Technicians in the field, her honors include receiving the Pennsylvania Paraoptometric of the year Award in Pittsburgh, in 1994.
In addition to her role as lead technician in the office, she is in charge of day-to-day operations. Her hobbies include gardening, reading, and spending time with her family.
Kristi L. Berry, A.B.O.C., C.P.O.A., N.C.L.C.
Kristi joined the staff of Eye Center of Lancaster County in 2001, after having been a patient for a number of years. In her early years at the practice, she divided her time among front office, patient care, and opticianry services. During her time at the practice, she attained the degrees of certified optician, certified paraoptometric, and certified contact lens technician. More recently, Kristi has concentrated her talents on the optical portion of the practice, and now oversees the daily operations of both the frame dispensing and optical laboratory areas. She is an expert at frame selection and lens options. Her hobbies include painting, reading, outdoor activities, and collecting Winnie the Pooh and lighthouse items.
Optical Services Coordinator
Lisa M. Scarborough, C.P.O.A., A.B.O.C.
Lisa is a 1987 graduate of McCaskey High School, Lancaster, PA. She joined Eye Center of Lancaster County in 1998 as a front office staff member, and has also worked with patient pre-examiniations and special testing. She has expanded her skill to patient care and special testing, earning her degree as a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant (C.P.O.A.) in 2001. She has also completed training and courses in opticianry, attaining the degree of A.B.O.C. in 2003. She has become our primary telephone/appointment coordinator, and an expert in the many insurance programs in which our office participates. Her daily supervision duties include record preparation, computer entry, billing, and recalls. Her favorite hobbies are football, reading and travel.
