Insurance can be very confusing. Major medical plans may have vision care attachments, often under a different name. An office visit can be billed through your major medical insurance, if the visit is for a medical reason. With some insurances, a referral is required from your primary care physician. Routine eye care, including refraction (determining your prescription), glasses and/or contact lenses may be covered in total or in part by your eye care insurance.
Our office participates with most plans which are popular in the area. These include: U.S. Health Care, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, GreatWest, NVA, VBA, VSP, First Health, and many other employer and Union Vision Discount Programs. Our staff has expertise with these plans and direct access to your insurance provider on-line.
We always strive to work with you to assure that you receive the maximum benefits allowed by your insurance.
